She has had over 20 years of working experience as a psychiatrist, both in local hospitals and in London. She was in the National Team for Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome in Maudsley Hospital, London and the Eating Disorders Clinic in Bethlem Royal Hospital, London. She also worked with adults and adolescents with learning disability and autism at the Bassetts Centre in U.K. She previously held the post of Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, UKM, and has vast experience both in the academic and clinical settings.
